Instructions

  1. Season the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels to remove any moisture. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper to enhance the flavor.
  2. Heat the Pan: Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter until it is hot and bubbling.
  3. Sear the Salmon: Add the salmon fillets to the skillet skin-side down. Cook without moving for about 4-5 minutes until the skin becomes crispy and the salmon is cooked halfway up the sides.
  4. Flip the Salmon: Carefully turn the fillets over and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the salmon is fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork.
