Garlic Butter Steak Bites are tender cubes of steak seared to perfection and tossed in a rich, garlicky butter sauce. They’re quick to prepare, packed with savory flavors, and perfect for a satisfying weekend meal or easy dinner.

Ingredients

Steak

  • 2 pounds steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip), cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prep the Steak: Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. In a bowl, toss the steak with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
  2. Sear the Steak: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add half of the steak cubes to the skillet and sear for about 2 minutes on each side until they form a browned crust. Remove the cooked steak bites to a plate. Repeat with the remaining steak cubes.
  3. Make Garlic Butter Sauce: Lower the skillet heat to medium. Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt completely. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  4. Toss Steak in Sauce: Return all the seared steak bites to the skillet. Toss the steak cubes in the garlic butter sauce, ensuring they are well coated. Spoon the sauce over the steak as you toss to enhance the flavor.
  5. Finish and Serve: Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the steak bites for freshness and color. Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use any tender cut of steak suitable for quick searing, such as sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip.
  • Smoked paprika is optional but adds a nice smoky depth to the flavor.
  • Make sure to pat your steak dry before seasoning to get a better sear.
  • Do not overcrowd the skillet when searing; cook in batches if necessary to ensure a good crust.
  • Serve with sides like mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
