A refreshing and vibrant Ginger Peach Lemonade that combines the natural sweetness of peaches with spicy ginger and fresh lemon juice, perfect for cooling down on a hot summer day.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 3 Peaches, pitted and sliced
  • 1 ½ inch Piece Ginger, peeled and sliced
  • ½ Cup Cane Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 5 Cups Cold Water

For Serving

  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh cut lemon slices

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Peach Ginger Syrup: In a medium saucepan, combine the sliced peaches, sliced ginger, cane sugar, and 1 cup of water. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium to medium-high heat. Once simmering, reduce the heat to low and cook gently for 5 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  2. Cool the Mixture: Turn off the heat and allow the peach and ginger mixture to cool for a few minutes. This step ensures safe handling before blending.
  3. Blend the Syrup: Transfer the cooled peach mixture into a blender. Blend until smooth, ensuring all the flavors are well integrated.
  4. Strain the Syrup: Using a fine mesh strainer, pour the blended mixture into a very large pitcher, straining out any pulp and ginger pieces for a smooth lemonade base.
  5. Add Lemon and Water: Pour in the fresh squeezed lemon juice and 5 cups of cold water into the pitcher. Stir thoroughly to combine all ingredients evenly.
  6. Serve: Add ice cubes and fresh lemon slices to the pitcher for garnish and extra chill. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • Use ripe peaches for the best sweetness and flavor.
  • Adjust the cane sugar amount based on your preferred sweetness.
  • Straining ensures a smooth texture but you can leave some pulp if you prefer a more rustic lemonade.
  • Store leftover lemonade in the refrigerator and consume within 2-3 days for optimal freshness.
