Refreshing and bright Orange Popsicles made from freshly squeezed orange juice with a hint of lemon and vanilla. Easy to prepare with just four simple ingredients, these popsicles are perfect for a cool, healthy treat on a warm day.

Ingredients

Orange Popsicles Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh orange juice (from about 10 oranges)
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients: Add the orange juice, granulated sugar, fresh lemon juice, and vanilla extract into a bowl or pitcher. Stir thoroughly until the sugar is completely dissolved, ensuring a smooth mixture for freezing.
  2. Fill Molds: Pour the orange mixture evenly into popsicle molds. Insert the popsicle sticks securely so they stay upright during freezing.
  3. Freeze: Place the filled molds in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until the popsicles are completely solid and frozen through.
  4. Unmold Popsicles: To remove the popsicles, run warm water over the outside of the molds for about 10 seconds without letting water touch the inside. Using gentle pressure, carefully pop the frozen treats out of the molds.
  5. Serve: Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing, homemade orange popsicles.

Notes

  • Use freshly squeezed orange juice for the best natural flavor and brightness.
  • Adjust sugar amount depending on the sweetness of the oranges or personal preference.
  • For a creamier popsicle, add a splash of coconut milk or yogurt.
  • Ensure no water enters the mold when running warm water to avoid affecting texture.
  • Store leftover popsicles in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one week.
